MAJOR GENERAL ROHITHA ALUVIHARE TAKES OFFICE AS NEW COMMANDER SECURITY FORCE CENTRAL

Amidst formal military formalities, Colonel of the Regiment of Vijayabahu Infantry Regiment, Major General Rohitha Aluvihare RWP RSP ndu psc assumed office as the 18th Commander of Security Force (Central) on 10 January 2023.

Placing his signature in an official document at the auspicious minute amid religious blessings, he symbolized the acceptance of his new appointment. Prior to this new office, Major General Rohitha Aluvihare served as the Adjutant General of the Army Headquarters.

General Officer Commandings, Brigade Commanders, Staff Officers, Commanding Officers and Troops under Security Force (Central) as well as a few other Staff Officers of Vijayabahu Infantry Regiment witnessed this official occasion.
