The new Adjutant General of the Sri Lanka Army, Major General S R B Aluvihare RWP RSP ndu psc of the Vijayabahu Infantry Regiment assumed duties as the new Adjutant General of the Army Headquarters on 06 June 2023.
Placing his signature in an official document at the auspicious minute amid religious blessings, he symbolized the acceptance of his new appointment.
Prior to this new office, Major General Rohitha Aluvihare served as the General Officer Commanding 11 Infantry Division of the Security Forces HQ - Central.
Major General Rohitha Aluvihare has held a number of senior key appointments in the capacities of operational, administrative and staff across the country since his enlistment to the Army in 1988.
