MAJOR GENERAL NISHANTHA MANAGE ASSUMES DUTIES AS THE NEW DGGS

The newly appointed Director General General Staff (DGGS) of Sri Lanka Army, Major General S U M N Manage WWV RWP RSP psc assumed duties on 13 December 2021 during a brief religious ceremony at the Army Headquarters.

Amid chanting of Seth Pirith by the Maha Sangha, the new DGGS signed an official document, signifying the acceptance of the new appointment.

At present, Major General Nishantha Manage also holding the appointments of the Colonel of the Regiment VIR and Commander Army Training Command. He has served a number of other senior key appointments in the capacities of operational, administrative and staff across the country after his enlistment to the Army in 1987.
