Major General D M K D B Pussella RWP RSP of the Vijayabahu Infantry Regiment assumed duties as the new Colonel Commandant - Sri Lanka Army General Service Corps on 08 June 2023 during a brief ceremony held at the Regimental Centre premises of Sri Lanka Army General Service Corps, Panagoda.
Placing his signature in an official document at the auspicious minute amid religious blessings, he symbolized the acceptance of his new appointment. Prior to this new office, Major General Deepal Pussella served as the Colonel of the Regiment of Mechanized Infantry Regiment.
Major General Deepal Pussella has held a number of senior key appointments in the capacities of operational, administrative and staff across the country since his enlistment to the Army in 1987.
