Inter Battalion Annual Athletic meet was held at Maliyadewa College Grounds on 13th and 14th July 2017. Colonel of the Regiment Major General Ajith Kariyakawana USP nec grace the event as the chief guest. Through out the event Vijayabahu Athletes have shown their skills and sportsmanship which can be shined the name of Vijayabahu in near future. 1 VIR won the championship for year 2016 and 18th battalion became the Runners up. 6th Battalion has gained the 3rd place.
