DESTRIBUTION OF DRY RATION PACKS TO ELDERS IN MALLAWAPITIYA ELDER’S HOME AND CHILDREN IN MALIYADEWA BOY’S HOME

Inmates at Mallawapitiya Elders’ Home were hosted to a delicious lunch by Officers and Other Ranks of the Vijayabahu Infantry Regiment on 17 March 2022 on account of its 32nd anniversary. 42 adults enjoyed the lunch and interacted with the troops while exchanging their good old memories. Some parents emotionally expressed their memories with the visitors treating them like their own sons and daughters. Officers and Other Ranks of the regimental staff participated in this meritorious event.

Also on account of 32nd anniversary, Vijayabahu Infantry Regiment offered a lunch treat and gave away gift parcels, stationaries and school uniform clothes to the 24 kids in Maliyadewa Boy’s Home on 17 March 2022. Officers and Other Ranks of the regimental staff participated in this meritorious event.
