In parallel to Army Para Games – 2018, Army Para Sitting Volleyball championship for year 2018 was held at Indoor Gymnasium, Vijayabahu Infantry Regiment Boyagane,Kurunegala with the participation of 05 Regiments on 11th & 12th August 2018.
Sitting Volleyball team represented by Regimental Headquarter Battalion – SLLI was able to grab the Championship by loosing opponent Vijayabahu Infantry Regiment.
Vijayabahu Infantry Regiment and Sri Lanka National Guard became second and third place. Brig SB Kohona, Centre Commandant SLNG Brig SB Kohona graced the occasion as the Chief Guest.
S/511980 Sgt Udaya Pushpakumara WAA represented the Vijayabahu Ingantry Regiment was awarded the trophy for Best Attacker in the tournament.
