ANOTHER DINERS’ CLUB SESSION WAS SUCCESSFULLY CONDUCTED AT RHQ VIR

Under the guidance of Director General General Staff Sri Lanka Army Headquarters and Colonel of the Regiment Major General Nishantha Manage, and direct supervision of Regimental Centre Commandant Brigadier Prabath Kodithuwakku, another successful Diners’ Club session was successfully held at “The Salute” Multifunctional Hall on 18 November 2022 on par with the Officers’ Training Day for the fourth quarter 2022, while adhering all the health precautions and guidelines stipulated to prevent COVID-19 outbreak.

As the guest speaker of the night, Chief Production Officer of Jiffy Group and Managing Director of Jiffy Products Sri Lanka Private Limited, Mr. Ruwan Rajapakse, conducted a timely important lecture on “Turnaround from crisis to growth personal and business approach: export economy agro export opportunities for Sri Lanka”. Officers took the opportunity to share their views with the audience and clear their doubts with the guest speaker.

The Colonel of the Regiment of Vijayabahu Infantry Regiment, Major General Nishantha Manage, and the Centre Commandant with regimental staff officers, officers serving in various establishments including VIR Battalions also participated for this session.
