On 26th September 2010 the Battalion was placed under command to the 632 Brigade and redeployed in Kokkavil, Puththuwedduwal.
On 1st September 2011, Lieutenant Colonel IKAW Perera RSP assumed duties as the Commanding Officer.
On 22nd March 2012 the Battalion moved to Thagilamawil, Mulankawil.
Major HPDA Wijesekara took over duties as the Commanding Officer on 19th October 2012.
