The Inter Regiment Athletic Championship of the Sri Lanka Army Volunteer Force (SLAVF) concluded at Sugathadasa Stadium Colombo on Friday (5) in the presence of the Commander of the Army Lieutenant General Mahesh Senanayake attending the closing ceremony as the Chief Guest.
The 55th ‘Army Inter Regiment Athletics Championship - 2018’, the much-awaited mega athletic event of the year held at Sugathadasa Stadium, Colombo on 31st October 2018. Lieutenant General Mahesh Senanayake, Commander of the Army graced as the Chief Guest for the closing ceremony. Major General Sudath Perera, Chairman, Army Athletic Committee welcomed the day’s Chief Guest on his arrival.
INTER BATTALION VOLLEYBALL TOURNAMENT - 2018
Inter Battalion Volleyball Tournament 2018 of Sri Lanka Electrical and Mechanical Regiment was held on 18th and 19th of October 2018 at the School of EME Gannoruwa. In the opening ceremony, the Volleyball Tournament was declared open by the Comdt of the School of EME Lt Col DA Sirimannage. School of EME organized and conducted the whole tournament with the participation of a large gathering of Volleyball players from all Bns/ Wksps.
