AWARENESS ON PAY AND RECORDS

Coincide with the training day programme, a lecture on Pay and Records was conducted under the directions of Major General MK Jayawardena RSP VSV USP ndu, Commandant of the Sri Lanka Army Volunteer Force (SLAVF) on 07 February 2024 at the Multifunctional Hall, Headquarters Sri Lanka Army Volunteer Force.

The lecture was delivered by Major VPCS Premarathna Lsc, Second-in-command of the 3rd Battalion Sri Lanka Army General Service Corps.

The lecture focused on roles and responsibilities of Directorate of Pay and Records and the computation of Pay & Allowances to the officers and soldiers who are in service. Further, the senior officer elaborated on the maintenance of records of pay and allowances and the process of calculating remuneration, loan schemes and the method of calculating pension that are probable issues of the serving members.

The lecture on the training day was conducted under the supervision of Major General Thusitha Silva KSP, Deputy Commandant of the Sri Lanka Army Volunteer Force.

The lecture was attended by Senior officers, Officers and Other Ranks of the Headquarters.
