VOLUNTEER FORCE PAYS COMPLIMENTS ON THE ACHIEVERS

Heading beyond in the expedition of a qualitative career upgradation of volunteering, officers who have qualified in the Basic Tactics and Military Ethos Course No.13 were complimented at the Headquarters of the Sri Lanka Army Volunteer Force (SLAVF) on the directions of Major General MK Jayewardene RSP VSV USP ndu - Commandant SLAVF on 08 January 2024.

In realizing the farsighted concept of Lieutenant General H L V M Liyanage RWP RSP ndu - Commander of the Army, 38 officers who have completed prerequisites and other requirements participated in the Basic Tactics and Military Ethos Course No. 13 conducted at the Infantry School, Mhow in India from 28 November to 09 January 2024.

The occasion was attended by Major General Thusitha Silva KSP- Deputy Commandant, Brigadier Mahen Salwatura RWP RSP USP - Principal Staff Officer, Brigadier W G P Sisira Kumara RSP- Inspector of Training,Colonel T S B R Fernando - Colonel Training, Senior Officers, Officers and Other Ranks of the Sri Lanka Army Volunteer Force.

The gathering of officers extended their best regards over the successful conclusion of the respective programme with distinctions and achievements crowning the honour of the Volunteer Force.
