AWARENESS PROGRAMME FOR NEWLY PASSED OUT QUARTERMASTERS

Fifteen Quartermasters who recently concluded the Quartermaster Course No. 6 from Army Logistics School were warmly welcomed to the Sri Lanka Army Volunteer Force and educated them on the subjects which relevant to their career progression on the concept of Major General M K Jayawardena RSP VSV USP ndc, the Commandant Sri Lanka Army Volunteer Force.

The opening remarks of the two day awareness programme commenced on 03 January 2024 delivered by Major General Thusitha Silva KSP, the Deputy Commandant of Sri Lanka Army Volunteer Force. During his remarks, he emphasized on their career that should be nourished with commitment, loyalty and integrity in the context of military holding the code of ethics expected by the establishment while extending his best compliments for future endeavours and all the success. Further, he emphasized that the accountability and accountable are the significant pillars of successful Quartermaster.

The programme focused in educating them on administrative concerns from the enlistment to the retirement including Volunteer Force Regulations, Quartermaster Career Progression, Posting Procedure and Examinations, Mess Etiquettes and Ordnance Procedure.

At the culmination, Colonel Training of Sri Lanka Army Volunteer Force delivered closing remarks.
