ATTITUDES DRIVE FOR A HEALTHY WORK FORCE

Spelling out the significance of attitudes that undoubtedly matters in upgrading career enhancement of the serving members in the Volunteer Force, another phase of the training day programme was scheduled under the directions of Major General U D Wijesekera RWP RSP USP rcds psc-Commandant of the Sri Lanka Army Volunteer Force (SLAVF) on 22 November 2023 at the Multi-Functional Hall.

The lecture was delivered by Lieutenant Colonel K D P De Wijesingha, the Commanding Officer of the 2 (Volunteer) Sri Lanka Army Medical Corps. The senior lady officer is a doctor by profession and well sound in her stream with innumerable experience. The programme got under way with the close supervision of Major General Thusitha Silva KSP- Deputy Commandant, SLAVF.

The lecture was based on a stimulative awareness on the change of attitudes which prevents non communicable diseases namely chronic diseases adversely affects the wellbeing. The content of the programme was lined up with knowledge provoking medical directions that lead to a healthy Army.

A gathering of Senior Officers, Officers and Other Ranks attended the lecture.
