SLAVF TROOPS ENLIGHTEN ON LEGAL FRAMEWORK ON ILLICIT DRUGS

The Sri Lanka Army Volunteer Force organized an awareness programme on the topic of “Legal Framework on Transportation and Keeping of Illicit Drugs in Possession”under the directions of Major General WASS Wanasinghe RSP VSV USP ndu, the Commandant of the Sri Lanka Army Volunteer Force (SLAVF) on 03 May 2023 at the Multi-Functional Hall.

The lecture was delivered by Major HSP Mendis, Staff Officer II (Legal) of the SLAVF, and the programme got under way with the close supervision of Major General Thusitha Silva KSP, the Deputy Commandant of the SLAVF.

The legal frame work which facilitates for a smooth working phenomenon was outlined educating the participants on the implication of law for not being a victim of such conducts as members of disciplined and reputed organization in the country.

A gathering of Senior Officers, Officers and Other Ranks attended the lecture.
