A HAND FOR THE MONTHLY WAGE AMIDST HOT ECONOMY

The Sri Lanka Army Volunteer Force organized a commercial market place in view of satisfaction to financial stress of its members on the concept of Major General D G S Senarath Yapa RWP RSP ndu, the Commandant of the Sri Lanka Army Volunteer Force on 03 October 2022 in the Headquarters premises.

The event got underway under the supervision of Major General Thusitha Silva KSP, the Deputy Commandant, Sri Lanka Army Volunteer Force and a conglomeration of specific food items was available at a concessionary price at the fair.

The members of the Headquarters purchased necessary goods and the occasion brought a consolation for the weighing hearts of its members priced due to the prevailing situation of the country. The occasion was indeed a fulfilment of much needed requirement that brings a relief for the monthly wage overwhelmed with burdens. All Ranks of the Headquarters attended the event.
