SHOWERS OF BLESSINGS BESTOW ON SHIFTING TO THE NEW HEADQAURTERS COMPLEX AND THE VOLUNTEER FORCE

Special religious observances held at several historic holy places, invoked blessings from all religions on the newly erected erections and the ongoing drive of the organizational upgradation on so faith of Major General DGS Senarath Yapa RWP RSP ndu, the Commandant of the Sri Lanka Army Volunteer Force on 12 (Tuesday) July 2022 during the dusk hours at one time.

The spiritual programmes were performed by the senior officers and officers of the Volunteer Force establishments collectively following religious rituals and rites in devotion upon successful accomplishments of undertakings on the Volunteer Force behalf in respective religious places of worship; Ruwanweli Maha Seya in Anuradhapura, Kiri Vehera in Kataragama, Kelaniya Rajamaha Viharaya in kelaniya, Sri Sumana Saman Devalaya in Ratnapura, Nawagamuwa Pattini Devalaya in Nawagamuwa, Lenawara Rajamaha Viharaya in Akarawita, Hanwella Jummah Masjid in Hanwella , and Our Lady of Sorrows Church in Kaluaggala.

Customary offerings were made by the respective delegations of authorities and brief orations were delivered by the Chief Incumbents invoking blessings on the newly built “Headquarters Complex”, “Main Entrance”, the entire establishment and the transitional drive which is in progress to be fruitful ahead so that the establishment to reach its heights.
