The Headquarters of the Sri Lanka Army Volunteer Force will step into the concept of minimum paper usage office where a work environment in which the use of paper is greatly reduced under the directions of Major General D G S Senarath Yapa RWP RSP ndu, the Commandant of the Sri Lanka Army Volunteer Force.
Accordingly, the inaugural workshop conducted today, (22 June 2022), and the opening remarks was made by Major General W M D S K Gunawardhane RSP KSP, the Deputy Commandant of the Sri Lanka Army.
This concept would lead in creating the workplace that has minimal paper-based processes and relies on digitized documents instead. Accordingly, initiatives have been taken for developing a required software which enhances this process, and primarily Dispatch Management System would be implemented to this HQ under this concept.
In addition to the above, Distance Learning System which is currently utilized by almost every state and private institute would be introduced in the process of administration and training for realizing organizational objectives efficiently.
Nominated Senior Officers, and Officers attended the programme and underwent a training session marking a profuse beginning of a digitized force.
