COLONEL NHJM NAWARATHNE ASSUMES DUTIES AS DEPUTY CENTER COMMANDANT OF THE SRI LANKA NATIONAL GUARD

Colonel NHJM Nawarathne assumed duties as the 08^th Deputy Centre Commandant of the Sri Lanka National Guard at the Regimental Headquarters on 15 December 2021.

The Senior Officer placed his signature for a formal document to signify the acceptance of his new appointment amidst chanting of “Seth Pirith”.

Being the most senior officer in the first group of officers who attached to the Sri Lanka National Guard, Colonel Mangala Nawarathne deserves the honour and salutation of the Sri Lanka National Guard for holding the celebrity and the dignity of the Regiment.

Few Staff Officers and senior NCOs participated in the event.
