COMMANDANT SLAVF INAUGURATES CONSTRUCTION OF THE ENTRANCE OF THE NEW HEADQUARTERS SRI LANKA ARMY VOLUNTEER FORCE

Making a new stride towards the construction of new camp premises, Major General K N S Kotuwegoda ndc IG Commandant – Sri Lanka Army Volunteer Force laid the foundation stone for construction of the entrance of the new Headquarters premises of Sri Lanka Army Volunteer Force in Seethawaka on 02 June 2021. Prior to the event, the first sod of soil for the new entrance was cut by the senior officer at the auspicious minute marking its inauguration.

Deputy Commandant Sri Lanka Army Volunteer Force Major General J D C G Jayasighe KSV KSP, Principal Staff Officer S R B Aluvihare RWP RSP ndu psc along with other Senior Officers were present at the occasion and few serving members who were within a bio-bubble participated in the event. The ceremony was conducted following the health directives issued for COVID 19 pandemic.
