HQ SLAVF ORGANIZES AN AWARENESS PROGRAMME ON “INSURANCE SCHEME”OF THE VOLUNTEER FORCE

In coincide with the training day of the Headquarters Sri Lanka Army Volunteer Force, an awareness programme on the “Insurance Scheme” awarded by the Volunteer Force was conducted by Major M Y C Mahakumara, SO II (Welfare) on 22 July 2020 at the HQ premises.

The programme was initially structured of elucidating on the “Insurance Scheme” which is being processed in the Volunteer Force while emphasizing of issues when applying for benefits provided thereby.

It has been observed that circumstances have been aroused in most of the occasions due to lack of knowledge of the procedure of the “Insurance Scheme” which facilitates both beneficiary and the organization alike.

The opportunity created for Officers and Other Ranks brought a value for obtaining a thorough understanding and the clearance of complications on the “Insurance Scheme”.
