LOTTERY DRAW OF SRI LANKA ARMY VOLUNTEER FORCE

The Lottery Draw of Sri Lanka Army Volunteer Force took place on 30 May 2020 under the auspices of Major General H J S Gunawardena RSP VSV USP ndc psc Commandant SLAVF at the Headquarters premises with the aim of raising funds for its Welfare Fund.

100 Winners were drawn in the lottery and first four winners received TVS 160 CC motor bikes and next six winners received TVS 125 CC motor bikes in the first phase of the Lottery Draw. These first ten winners were drawn by the Commandant SLAVF.

90 Consolation prizes HP i5 laptop computers, Huawei tablet computers, LG 32” LED televisions, mobile phones and Abans gas cookers were awarded for the winners drawn at the next phases of the lottery.

Deputy Commandant Major General K P Nugegoda RWP RSP, Principal Staff Officer Brigadier K Liyanage RWP RSP ndu, Brigadier Logistics Brigadier B P Caldera, Brigadier Administration Brigadier J D C G Jayasinghe, Inspector of Training Brigadier K N Perera and Colonel Military Secretary (Volunteer) Brigadier D C V K Kulathunga USP drew tickets for consolation prizes.

The whole process of the Lottery Drawing was conducted in accordance with the health directives issued for COVID 19 pandemic of the country.

Lottery Draw prizes will be distributed to respective Volunteer Battalions and winners will be published in the SLAVF web site.
