TRAINING DAY PROGRAMME, THE SRI LANKA ARMY VOLUNTEER FORCE

Coincide with the routine training day programme, the Headquarters of the Sri Lanka Army Volunteer Force organized a lecture at the Headquarters premises on 19 February 2022 under the auspices of Major General C D Weerasuriya RWP RSP ndu, Commandant Sri Lanka Army Volunteer Force.

The lecture was conducted by Ms. Ama Dissanayake, the National Trainer & Lecturer in Positive Thinking, Stress Managing on the topic of “a soft address on tough people”. Ms. Ama Dissanayake is a post graduate diploma holder in Counseling at the University of Colombo. She is a counselor who possesses more than 30 years of experience in personality development, human skill development, positive thinking, and social and cultural adaption.

The lecture was a moment filled with a sensible array of thoughts that accords a deep insight and inspiration of the life. The reflection on events of the life was carefully addressed and touched producing an intensive stimulus which directs to a fertile stream of thoughts.

A gathering of nominated Officers and Other Ranks presented the occasion, and the programme of the day was underway with strict adherence to the health directives issued for COVID – 19 pandemic of the country.
