SRI LANKA ARMY VOLUNTEER FORCE PHOTO ARCHIVES

The Photo Archives of the Volunteer Force was declared open by Major General Thusitha Silva KSP- the Deputy Commandant of the Sri Lanka Amy Volunteer Force on 24 April 2024 at the Headquarters of the Volunteer Force.

The Volunteer Force of the Sri Lanka Army breathed by its prime predecessor sand successors over the decades, has been serving to this motherland proving itself as a formidable force being the best counter part of the Sri Lanka Army.

To the tribute of members who joined the Volunteer Force over the past, the Photo Archives is established. The memories ever cherished from the Intake 1 to 61 A along with lady intakes from the Intake 1 to 18 have been unveiled for the spectators.

The realization of the conceptual objective of commemorating of its roots that scaffolds the present standard of the Volunteer Force brings a pride and honour for the onlookers.

A large gathering of officers who attended the occasion included senior officers and officers of the Headquarters in the Volunteer Force and the other military establishments of the Sri Lanka Army.
