MAJOR GENERAL THUSITHA SILVA KSP VISIT STHE COORDINATING CENTRE OF THE SRI LANKA ARMY PIONEER CORPS AND THE SRI LANKA RIFLE CORPS (SLAPC & SLRC)

Major General Thusitha Silva KSP- the Deputy Commandant of the Sri Lanka Army Volunteer Force (SLAVF) made a courtesy visit to the Coordinating Centre of the Sri Lanka Army Pioneer Corps and the Sri Lanka Rifle Corps (SLAPC & SLRC) and the 1 Sri Lanka Rifle Corps (1 SLRC) on 01 March 2024.

The Deputy Commandant, SLAVF was warmly received by Colonel JKNS Jayasinghe KSP - the Coordinating Officer of the Sri Lanka Army Pioneer Corps and the Sri Lanka Rifle Corps.

As the succeeding event, a Guard Turnout was accorded by the troops of the 1 Sri Lanka Army Pioneer Corps in honour of his arrival to the camp premises.

Addressing the troops, the senior officers extended his views on heading as a collective force over the future enhancement of the establishment and conveyed his gratitude on successful integration of duties and responsibilities hitherto.

During the visit, the senior officer inspected the ongoing constructions of the camp premises of the 1 Sri Lanka Rifle Corps.

Marking the visit, the senior officer placed a complimentary note of appreciation in the Visitors’ Book.
