THE LAW OF ARMED CONFLICT

The training day of the week abiding to the day’s itineraries and other scheduled training formalities was culminated under the guidelines of Major General D K S K Dolage USP npspsc- the Commandant of the Sri Lanka Army Volunteer Force (SLAVF) on 07 May 2025 at the Headquarters of the Sri Lanka Army Volunteer Force.

The centerpiece of the training day: the lecturewas conducted by Major J P T S Jayasinghe who is a senior officer belongs to the Sri Lanka National Guard. The senior officer is currently performing duties as the Logistics 11 in the Headquarters of the Sri Lanka Army Volunteer Force.

The awareness programme primarily aimedat basic principles of law and its main components that are significant aspects in navigating the military career.

The programme got underway with the close supervision of Major General B M R J Bandara- the Deputy Commandant of the Volunteer Force.The occasion was attended by Colonel Training, Senior Officers, Officers and Other Ranks of the Headquarters in the Volunteer Force.
