FORMER CHAIRMAN CONGRATULATES SRI LANKA ARMY MUAYTHAI TEAM ON CONTINUED SUCCESS

In honour of fostering Army Muaythai, a renowned martial art discipline, Brigadier Priyanka Perera psc, presented a memorabilia to Major General D K S K Dolage USP nps psc, the former chairman of Army Muaythai,in the course of a formal visit to 3 (Volunteer) Regiment of the Sri Lanka Army Corps of Agriculture and Livestock on 12 June 2025.

The catalyst for the felicitation awarded to Major General Kapila Dolage was the Sri Lanka Army Muaythai athletes securing their third consecutive triumph at the National Muaythai Championship – 2025.

Major General Kapila Dolage, who was instrumental in guiding the Army Muaythai team to victory in 2023, played a pivotal role in revitalizing the team's combat sports journey following a prolonged hiatus due to the global pandemic.

Major General Kapila Dolage, the present successor in the office of the Commandant of the Sri Lanka Army Volunteer Force extended his heartfelt congratulations to the athletes of the team for their outstanding achievement.

The leadership and dedication made by Major General Kapila Dolage, laid a strong foundation for the team’s ongoing success.
