DISTRIBUTION OF SUBSIDIES AT BODHIRAJARAMAYA – PANAGODA

A Poya day programme of the Sri Lanka Army Volunteer Force consisted with series of meritorious activities which have been scheduled for Poson full moon Poya day was amended due to COVID 19 pandemic of the country.

The programme that consisted with donation event was organized by the Sri Lanka Army Volunteer Force in association with Sri Lanka Army Buddhists Association with the support of the Sri Lanka Army Pioneer Corps at Bodhirajaramaya Temple, Panagoda on 03 June.

Accordingly, subsidies which contained dry rations were distributed among 500 families who have been selected from 11 Grama Niladhari Divisions with the gracious presence of the Commander SFHQ (West) and Deputy Commandant Major General K P Nugegoda RWP RSP Sri Lanka Army Volunteer Force.

The attendees of the programme received their dry rations and all complied with the health directives issued for the COVID 19 pandemic. Senior Officers and Officers and Other Ranks of the Sri Lanka Army attended the program.
