COMMANDANT SLAVF ENCOURAGES THE ATHLETES

The Commandant, Sri Lanka Army Volunteer Force and the Chairman of the Army Athletics Committee, Major General Sujeewa Senarath Yapa RWP RSP ndu inspected the trainings of Army Athletes who represent the Sri Lanka Athletics Pool at Torrington Ground on 8 July.

During his address to the athletes, he boosted the morale which is of paramount importance to gain the victories and advised on their trainings. Later, he donated the Yoga mattresses to the Army Athletes who represent the Elite Pool of Sri Lanka.

The Secretary of the Sri Lanka Army Athletics Committee and 581 Brigade Commander, Brigadier Priyantha Nawarathna, The Chairman, Development Committee of the Sri Lanka Army Athletics and Sports Officer SLAVF, Lieutenant Colonel Sujeewa Priyanthalal and the members of the Army Athletics Committee attended for the event.
