THE COMMANDANT COMPLIMENTS FOR THE PROFESSIONAL ON UN UNDERTAKINGS

In approaching maximum possible means of peacekeepers and enlightening the professionalism, a professional officer held hands with the Volunteer Force was warmly welcomed by Major General Sanjaya Wanasinghe RSP USP ndu, the Commandant SLAVF for his undertakings to serve the Level-2 Hospital in South Sudan on 18 January 2023 at the Headquarters of the SLAVF.

To the credit of national requirement, Lieutenant Colonel Buddhika Sri Harsha Indrasena who sounded in his profession as a Consultant General Surgeon enlisted in the Volunteer Force under the Volunteer General Reserve Scheme, and was called on active service of the Sri Lanka Army.

Providing qualitative service and shouldering challengeable specialized tasks that earn pride, honour and other fringe of benefits to the country, the Volunteer Force deploys expertise excelled in varied streams in peacekeeping duties.

Amidst compliments for the most honoured and confronted assignments of duties, Consultant General Surgeon Buddhika Sri Harsha Indrasena placed his signature on the official agreement. The professional officer will be integrated with the succeeding contingent schedule of the United Nations Peace-Keeping Mission in South Sudan.

The Commandant extended his wishes while having a cordial interaction with them, and spelled out the importance of maintaining the highest level of discipline while committing to the role and tasks in South Sudan at this critical period of the country.

The Deputy Commandant, Principal Staff Officer and Recruiting Officer of Sri Lanka Army Volunteer Force attended the occasion and paid their tributes.
