BRIGADIER M M SALWATURA RWP RSP USP TAKES OVER DUTIES AS THE PRINCIPAL STAFF OFFICER OF THE SRI LANKA ARMY VOLUNTEER FORCE

Brigadier M MSalwatura RWP RSP USP who belonging to an elite infantry regiment, the Gemunu Watch assumed office as the Principal Staff Officer of the Sri Lanka Army Volunteer Force (SLAVF) on 12 June 2023 at the Headquarters, SLAVF.

On his arrival to the office, he was welcomed by the Senior Officers and Officers of the Headquarters of Volunteer Force.

Signifying the acceptance of the new office, the Senior Officer placed his signature for a formal document where it denotes career obligations at the auspicious time amidst invoking blessings of Seth Pirithand observing religious rituals in his new office.

Senior Officers, Officers and Other Ranks attended the occasion with congratulatory compliments over his new appointment.
