Brigadier H A Keerthinatha RSP KSP psc assumed duties in the office of the Brigadier Administration of the Headquarters, Sri Lanka Army Volunteer Force with effect from 02 May 2025.
The newly appointed Brigadier Administration signed an official document, symbolizing the acceptance of his new errand, amidst religious observances.
The senior officer enlisted in the Volunteer Force of the Sri Lanka Army on 18 July 1990 and is a successor of the Gajaba Regiment, an elite infantry regiment where Keteriansare groomed and devotedly consigned to safeguarding this land. He has accumulated nearly 35 years of military service.
He is a professionally sound military stance who has earned the qualification of passed staff college and has been serving under key military appointments of command and staff in the course of his military service.
The senior officer is a combat-experienced officer who acted in the best interest of the organization during the counterinsurgency operations, and he has been awarded the Rana Sura Padakkama for his personal acts of courage and exceptional behavior in the presence of the enemy during active deployment. The military service provided by the senior officer has been greatly acknowledged and honored with the military decoration of Karyakshama Seva Padakkama (KSP) and additional service medals.
The senior officer, prior to the new appointment served as the Centre Commandant, Sri Lanka National Guard (SLNG).
