BRIGADIER/ COLONEL COORDINATING OFFICERS’ AND LIAISON OFFICERS’ CONFERENCE

Headquarters of the Sri Lanka Army Volunteer Force (HQ SLAVF) under the guidance and directions of Commandant of the Sri Lanka Army Volunteer Force Major General C D Weerasuriya RWP RSP ndu conducted Brigadier/ Colonel Coordinating Officers’ and Liaison Officers’ Conference on 20 January 2022 at the Headquarters premises. The conference was chaired by the Commandant with the participation of the Deputy Commandant, the Principal Staff Officer, all branch heads and Senior Officers of the HQ SLAVF. All Brigadier/ Colonel Coordinating Officers under the Formation Headquarters and LOs of all the Regiments were present at the conference.

Addressing the audience, the Commandant underlined the significance of their appointments to the organization while explaining the aim of conducting the conference. During the conference, he explained how they can contribute their services to battalions, troops and the Headquarters of the Sri Lanka Army Volunteer Force with much responsibility.

The opportunity has been created for all officers to bring out the matters pertaining to Volunteer Battalions and their troops on administration and seeking for solutions through dialogues. Further discussions were held on matters pertaining to officers, other ranks and other general matters between the Commandant along with the respective branch heads of the Headquarters and Brigadier/ Colonel Coordinating Officers.

The programme was taken place adhering to the health directives issued for COVID – 19.
