ADMINISTRATIVE INSPECTION AT THE SECURITY FORCES HEADQUARTERS (MULLAITTIVU)

The verification of procedural correctness and accurate process heightens the well-functioning of the establishment in all aspects, and the annual administrative inspection of the respective volunteer battalions is scheduled in bringing the absolute assurance of the managerial functions of the entire Volunteer Force.

A team of officers and other ranks presided by Major General Thusitha Silva KSP -Deputy Commandant, Sri Lanka Army Volunteer Force attended the annual administrative inspection of volunteer battalions deployed under the Security Forces (Mullaittivu) on 07th and 08th of November 2023 under the directions of Major General U D Wijesekera RWP RSP USP rcds psc - the Commandant, Sri Lanka Army Volunteer Force.

On his arrival to the Security Forces Headquarters, the Deputy Commandant was warmly received by Colonel RBCU Ratnamalala-Colonel Coordinating Officer. Prior to the formal proceedings of the administrative inspection, the Deputy Commandant addressed the troops of volunteer battalions highlighting on the scheduled inspection that scaffolds the sound administrative process amongst volunteer battalions.

The inspection proceedings of the relevant volunteer battalions under command to the Security Forces (Mullaittivu) were set out at the Security Forces Headquarters on 08 November 2023.

During the course of administrative inspection, the Deputy Commandant paid a visit to 14 (Volunteer) Battalion of the Gemunu Watch and the Senior Officer was accorded with a Guard Turnout in honour of his arrival to the Battalion.

The culmination of a two-day administrative inspection marked with a concise account presented by the partakers on the administrative process carried out. During the cordial interaction, the Deputy Commandant paid his tributes on Major General MK Jayawardena RSP VSV USP ndu –Commander, Security Forces (Mullaittivu) and his staff, Divisional Commanders of 59, 64, & 68 Divisions, Brigade Commanders, Senior Officers and Officers of the respective battalions who extended their fullest collaboration in succeeding the event.
