42 QUARTERMASTERS (REGULAR FORCE) PASSEDOUT AT VOLUNTEER FORCE TRAINING SCHOOL STRENGTHENINGTHE SRI LANKA ARMY OFFICER CARDER

The Quartermaster Commission Course 24was terminated at Sri Lanka Army Volunteer Force Training School (SLAVFTS) Diyatalawa on 08 October 2021 with 42Probationary Officers.

The Course was conducted in two stages at training establishments in the Sri Lanka Army. The first stage was conducted at the ASL while the second stage at the SLAVFTS which commenced on 09 September to 08 October 2021under the supervision of Directorate of Training and on the directions of the ARTRAC, with the Sri Lanka Army Way Forward Strategy 2020 - 2025objectives and Commander of the Army’s directions.

The course was designed and conducted to achieve the aim of transform the qualified and disciplined selected Warrant Officers of the Sri Lanka Army Regular Force as Quartermasters.

The closing ceremony was taken place adhering to the COVID – 19 guidelines with a glamorous and brief closing address by the Commandant SLAVFTS Colonel HA Keerthinatha RSP KSP psc as the chief guest with the directions by the ARTRAC, Directorate of Training and on the direction and blessings of Commander of the Army and Commandant Sri Lanka Army Volunteer Force (SLAVF).

The Chief Guest highlighted and reminded the importance of upholding highest standard of professional competency and discipline as officers in his closing address and towards the end, the chief guest was invited to appear for a group photograph with all passing out officers as a custom.
