SLASC SVB ORGANIZED AN AWARENESS PROGRAMME ON SELF - EMPLOYED SMALL SCALE BUSINESS & DISTRIBUTED DRY RATION PACKS

7th Sri Lanka Army Service Corps Kilinochchi organized an awareness programme on self - employed small scale business on manufacturing oil lamp wicks with the demonstrations was conducted by Mrs. Ishini Nawaratne and distributed ingredients packs to start the aforesaid business. Moreover, in line with the programme, essential dry ration packs were distributed among the civil staff and selected families of Other Ranks serving at 7 SLASC on 01st June 2024 at lecture hall, 3 SLASC - Anuradapura.

Mrs. Chandi Rajapaksha, President of the Sri Lanka Army Service Corps Seva Vanitha Branch graced the occasion as the chief guest and the members of SVB at SLASC were participated. Programme was launched under supervision of Major KMSN Premarathne USP Lsc, Commanding Officer - 7 SLASC and Mrs. Ruwangika Senarathnne.

21 x civil staff and 16 x families of Other Ranks were benefited from this programme and all the members of 7 SLASC extend their much valuable support to success the event and the same time special thanks goes to Commanding Officer - 3 SLASC and SVB – SLASC who gave their fullest support to make this event a success. At the end of the event all the participants were treated a delicious food.
