ASSUMING DUTIES AS THE COLONEL COMMANDANT SLASC

Master General Ordnance Maj Gen WMRWWHJB Wanigasekera USP assumed duties as the 24th Colonel Commandant of the Sri Lanka Army Service Corps on 04 April 2022 in a simple ceremony at the RHQ SLASC. Due to the prevailing Covid 19 pandemic situation in the country, taking over formalities were carried out in accordance with the health guidelines.

The day's event commenced with a ceremonial Guard Turnout, followed by a Guard of Honour salute, Centre Commandant Sri Lanka Army Service Corps welcomed him together with Senior Officers and Officers of the Corps. The event also included with a tree planting, all rank tea, Troop address and Officers address.
