OFFICERS TRAINING DAY

The Second Officers’ Training Day of SLASC for year 2020 was held at the RHQ SLASC on 10 September 2020 with the participation of 100 officers including the Director Agriculture & Live Stock and Colonel Commandant SLASC Brigadier Indrajith Kandanaarachchi.

The Training Day commenced with the morning PT at 0600 hrs followed by a lecture on Social Etiquette, presentations by the Commanding Officers of SLASC Units and address by the Colonel Commandant.

A football tournament was organized in the evening and Officers representing the teams Gemunu, Gajaba, Parakrama and Thissa played for the trophy. Defeating all three teams, the Gemunu Team won the tournament and got the trophy.

As the last event of the day, Diner’s Club was organized and a lecture on “The Art of Positive Attitude” was conducted by Major (Retd) AP Pandithage psc.

All the participants could have a day full of wisdom, information and knowledge. With Officers’ interaction the Training Day of SLASC Officers reached the end with good remarks.
