BID FAREWELL TO BRIGADIER BP CALDERA AT RHQ SLASC

Sri Lanka Service Corps bade farewell to outgoing Colonel Commandant of Sri Lanka Service Corps Brig BP Caldera during a formal farewell ceremony, held at the SLASC Regimental Headquarters premises at Army Cantonment Panagoda 13th June 2020.

The day's event commenced with a ceremonial Guard Turnout, followed by a Guard of Honour salute, Centre Commandant Sri Lanka Armoured Corps welcomed him together with Senior Officers and Officers of the Corps. The day’s event also included with a tree planting, all rank tea, troop address and later he was formally blessed with the traditional street lining.

The formal farewell was culminated with the customary a ‘Farewell Dinner Night’ hosted for Brig Priyantha Caldera by Officers of the Sri Lanka Service Corps and their Spouses in the Cavalry Officers’ Mess.
