SRI LANKA ARMY SERVICE CORPS PROUDLY CELEBRATES ITS 76TH ANNIVERSARY

With an unbroken legacy of commitment and excellence spanning over seven decades in service to the Motherland, the Sri Lanka Army Service Corps proudly commemorates its 76th Anniversary on 30 October 2025. The event was conducted under the direction of the Adjutant General of the Sri Lanka Army and Colonel Commandant of the SLASC Maj Gen K T P de Silva RSP ndu psc and under the close supervision of the Centre Commandant - SLASC Brig D P K Gamage RSP USP psc ptsc.

To mark this significant milestone, a friendly gathering of all Officers and soldiers of the Corps was organized on 30 October 2025 at the Army Physical Training School Panagoda. The event was graced by the Adjutant General of the Sri Lanka Army and Colonel Commandant of the Sri Lanka Army Service Corps, Maj Gen K T P de Silva RSP ndu psc, and the Centre Commandant, Brig D P K Gamage RSP USP psc ptsc, along with many Senior Officers and other ranks.

The gathering was organized with the objective of enhancing comradeship, unity, and esprit of the Corps among members of the Service Corps. The event featured a variety of activities and recreational segments that strengthened bonds of friendship and mutual understanding among the participants, creating an atmosphere of joy and fellowship.

The friendly gathering concluded successfully with the participation of Officers and Soldiers representing various units of the Corps, symbolizing the unity, pride, and professionalism that define the Sri Lanka Army Service Corps.
