SRI LANKA ARMY SERVICE CORPS INTER-BATTALION VOLLEYBALL TOURNAMENT – 2025

In commemoration of the 76th Anniversary of the Sri Lanka Army Service Corps, the Inter-Battalion Volleyball Tournament – 2025 was successfully organized by the Regimental Centre, Sri Lanka Army Service Corps under the guidance of the Adjutant General of the Sri Lanka Army Headquarters and the Colonel Commandant of the Sri Lanka Army Service Corps, Major General KTP de Silva RSP ndu psc, and under the supervision of the Centre Commandant, Brigadier DPK Gamage RSP USP psc ptsc.

The tournament was conducted from 19 September 2025 to 22 October 2025, with the aim of fostering sportsmanship, discipline, and unity among the Officers and other ranks of the Corps.

The grand finals of the tournament were held on 22 October 2025 at the Army Physical Training School Indoor Stadium, Panagoda, graced by the Adjutant General of the Sri Lanka Army Headquarters and the Colonel Commandant of the Sri Lanka Army Service Corps, Major General KTP de Silva RSP ndu psc, as the Chief Guest.

Following an intense and competitive series of matches, the Army Service Corps School Volleyball Team, emerged as the Champions, while the 1 SLASC Team secured the Runners-up. L/Cpl N B Siripala was adjudged the Best Player of the Final for his outstanding performance throughout the match.

The event concluded on a high note, strengthening esprit of the Corps and promoting the sporting excellence of the Sri Lanka Army Service Corps.
