CONTRIBUTION OF THE SRI LANKA ARMY SERVICE CORPS SEVA VANITHA BRANCH FOR THE CONSTRUCTION OF THE OTHER RANKS’ HOLIDAY BUNGALOW AT THISSAWEWA

With the noble intention of enhancing the welfare facilities of the troops, the Sri Lanka Army Service Corps Seva Vanitha Branch has consistently rendered its assistance through numerous welfare projects. In keeping with this commitment, a donation of Rs. 2,500,000.00 was made towards the construction of the proposed Other Ranks’ Holiday Bungalow at the 3rd Sri Lanka Army Service Corps, Thissawewa Camp.

The financial contribution was ceremonially handed over on 30 September 2025, with the gracious presence of the Honorable Chairperson of the SLASC Seva Vanitha Branch, Mrs. Ajantha De Silva. The donation was officially presented to Lieutenant Colonel MMJL Disanayake USP Lsc, Commanding Officer of the 3rd Sri Lanka Army Service Corps.
