ASSUMING DUTIES OF THE 23rd CENTRE COMMANDANT OF SLASC

Brigadier DPK Gamage RSP USP psc ptsc assumed duties as the 23rd Centre Commandant of Sri Lanka Army Service Corps (SLASC) on 02 October 2025 during a brief ceremony, held at the Regimental Centre, Sri Lanka Army Service Corps.

The newly appointed Centre Commandant was warmly welcomed by the Deputy Centre Commandant SLASC and honoured in a Guard Turnout. After a short while, the newly appointed Centre Commandant was invited to the parade ground to receive the salute in the Ceremonial Parade, accorded in his honour by SLASC troops at the Regimental Headquarters.

Thereafter, symbolizing his acceptance of the new office amidst religious observances, Brigadier DPK Gamage RSP USP psc ptsc, left his signature in an official document in the presence of a gathering of Senior Officers.

Adding memories to the day, the Senior Officer was invited to pose for a few group photographs and also invited to plant sapling in the compound. Further, new Commandant of the Regimental Centre attended the traditional all-ranks tea and took time to share ideas with those present. At the end of the day’s ceremony The Centre Commandant addressed to all Offcers.
