According to the directions given by the Directorate of Training to conduct an “Officers Training Day”, Sri Lanka Army Medical Corps conducted its session for 1st Quarter on 21 February 2024 at Regimental Headquarters Werahera, under the supervision and guidance of the Colonel Commandant and Director General Army Health Services Maj Gen PAC Fernando and Centre Commandant Brig WAUS Wanasekara RWP USP with the participation of over 120 Officers.
The day’s proceeding commenced with morning physical training for all officers followed by Cane/Sward drills. Thereafter, the motivational Speaker Mr.Rushdi Jabir conducted a presentation on “Never Give Up” which was very informative for the all officers. Maj K R A Perera USP Commanding officer of ABH Diyathalawa conducted a lecture on “Medical Procedure” The evening session commenced with the recreation participation of all officers playing games.
The evening session colourfulwith the “Diners Club” commence with the arrival of Col Comdt and Director General Army Health Services. Prof. NalinAbeysekera, the Dean of the Faculty of Management Studies of the Open University of Sri Lanka conducted a presentation on “How to Brand Yourself”. The day’s terminated with the dinner organized at Officer’s Mess RHQ - SLAMC.
