3 SLAMC celebrated their 21st Anniversary on 01st March 2020 at 3 SLAMC Headquarters Nelumkulama, Anuradhapura.
The Corps day programme started with a guard turnout given to the Commanding Officer Maj RMDB Rajapaksha and followed by a Troop address and planting of a “Mee” tree sapling. With the Participation of Officers and OR’s of 3 SLAMC, All Ranks tea and lunch was arranged in the OR’s Mess.
In the evening a Holiday bungalow (Starlight Rest) built by 3 SLAMC troops was declared open by the Colonel Commandant Maj Gen SH Munasinghe RWP RSP VSV USP. The Security Forces Commander (WANNI), Commander - Forward Maintenance Area (NC), President of the Seva Vanitha Branch -SLAMC, Center Commandant - SLAMC and Senior Officers participated for this event. Afterwards a grand musical event was organized to mark the end of the Corps day celebration.
