2 (V) SLAMC inaugurated newly constructed Pte mess and the Canteen at a ceremonial opening held on 11 July 2018 at the premises in Panagoda, 2 (V) SLAMC.The Ceremony started by planting a tree by the Chief Guest of the ceremony Director General Army Health Services and Colonel Commandant SLAMC Maj Gen SH Munasinghe RWP RSP USP.
Director General Army Health Services and Colonel Commandant SLAMC Maj Gen SH Munasinghe RWP RSP USP laid the foundation stone for the OR’s accommodation building and declared open the newly constructed Pte mess and the Canteen amidst the religious formalities at 2 (V) SLAMC with the participation of Director Army Medical Services Maj Gen KP Sumanapala, Director Management and Maintenance, Brig HR Wickramasinghe USP,The Centre Commandant SLAMC Brig WMJRK Senaratne RWP RSP and the Commanding Officer 2 (V) SLAMC Maj RMDB Rajapakse.
Col Comdt and Snr Offrs visited the camp premises and inspect the kitchen, Q stores and ORs accommodation.
Later Maj Gen SH Munasinghe RWP RSP USP address the Offr’s and OR’s and the tea was served by the WO’s & Sgt’s mess for all ranks.
