Regimental Headquarters of Sri Lanka Army Medical Corps was moved to their own and permanent location at Army Camp - Werahera on 15th October 2015. The new office complex and the Centre Comdt Office was declared opened by Brig HR Wickramasinghe USP - Centre Comdt (RHQ SLAMC). Construction of the main HQ building for RHQ SLAMC is near completion.
Sri Lanka Army Medical Corps boasts a proud and illustrious 136 year history. Initially RHQ - SLAMC was located within the premises of AHQ - Colombo and shifted to old building in the Army Cantonment, Panagoda in 2006.
