    The Military School of Nursing held the capping ceremony for the 2020 batch on the 3rd of April 2025 at the Heritage Hotel Anuradhapura . The Director of the Directorate of Army Medical Services Brigadier KGKH Wijewardana RSP USP participated as the Chief Guest. The Director of Nursing Education from the Ministry of Health and Mass Media, along with other high - ranking officials in the nursing Profession, also attended to the occasion.

    According to the directions given by the Directorate of Training to conduct an Officers' Training Day', Sri Lanka Army Medical Corps conducted its session for 1st Quarter on 20 March 2025 at Regimental Headquarters Werahera, under the supervision and guidance by the Commandant of the Sri Lanka Army Volunteer Force and Colonel Commandant Maj Gen D K S K Dolage USP nps psc and Centre Commandant Brig A P A D D Dharmakeerthi RWP RSP USP psc ptsc with the participation of over 130 Officers.

    Brigadier A P A D D Darmakeerthi RWP RSP USP psc ptsc assumed duties as the 27th Center Commandant of the Sri Lanka Army Medical Corps (SLAMC) at the Headquarters, SLAMC, Werahera on 13 February 2025.The newly appointed Center Commandant was warmly welcomed by the Deputy Center Commandant, SLAMC and honoured in a Guard Turnout.

    The 11th contingent of the Sri Lanka Army Medical Corps (SLAMC) has embarked on its mission to serve at the Level-2 SRIMED Hospital under the United Nations Peacekeeping Mission in South Sudan (UNMISS) on Thursday (13).

  • 10th Contingent at SRIMED Level 2 Hospital in South Sudan Marks Completion of Tenure

    The 10th contingent of the United Nations Mission in South Sudan (UNMISS) at SRIMED Level 2 UN Hospital in Bor, South Sudan, comprising 9 Officers and 42 troops, arrived in Sri Lanka on 11 February 2025, following the successful completion of their one-year mission. Meanwhile, the remaining 07 Officers and 05 troops stayed in South Sudan as a rear party and are expected to arrive in due course.
