The Sri Lanka Army Medical Corps Regimental Centre organized a colorful Farewell Ceremony on 31 of August 2023 for its proud members, Brigadier KSD Karunarathna, Brigadier NK Ariyarathna USP, Brigadier WMTQP Wijerathna, Brigadier SN Semage USP, Brigadier M Muthumala, Brigadier PG Wickramasooriya and Brigadier PTR Makuloluwa.
The day’s ceremony commenced with a customary Guard Turnout followed by a colourful parade accorded for Brigadier SN Semage USP. The ceremony was organized under the guidance of The Director General Army Health Services and Colonel Commandant of Sri Lanka Army Medical Corps Major General PAC Fernando USP.
As a part of rich tradition of the Regiment the Farewell Dinner was organized in a dignified manner in order to pay honor for their tireless efforts, leadership, and the countless lives they have touched through their medical expertise and compassionate care. Their legacy will continue to guide the Sri Lanka Army Medical Corps as they strive to uphold the highest standards of healthcare and military service.
The Dinner was hosted by The Director General Army Health Services and Colonel Commandantof Sri Lanka Army Medical Corps Major General PAC Fernando USP.
