Col KGKH WijewardenaRSP USP assumedduties as the 1st Deputy Centre Commandant of Corps of Sri Lanka Army Medical at the Corps Headquarters Werahara, on 1 November 2018.
The newly appointed Deputy Centre Commandant was warmly welcomed by the Staff Officer 1 (Admin), Lieutenant Colonel SC EkanayakeRSP on his arrival to the Corps Headquarters. Thereafter, newly appointed Deputy Centre Commandant symbolically took his office placing the signature on a formal document at an auspicious time amidst Seth Pirith chanting by Maha Sangha. Finally, he attended for Tea with All Ranks held at the Medical Corps conference hall.
